Happy 25th Anniversary, Par One Construction: Looking Back on Where We Started and the Legacy We Have Created

Par One Construction has turned 25 years old!

“As I look back over the past 25 years, my heart is filled with gratitude! The success of Par One Construction is the result of such wonderful homeowners. They have entrusted us with their homes and have had us back repeatedly. So many of them have had us back to perform additional work for them over the years. Some of them have even helped us start new relationships with their children and friends. New business has been slow the last couple of years. Having said that we have had business growth with all the repeat and referral business that we do. This is a testament to the fact that ‘We Build Relationships',” shared Rick McAllister, Owner of Par One Construction.

We have always been focused on building relationships and treating customers like our own family. Combined with our craftsmanship and customer service, the team is proud of what we have been able to deliver.

Rick opened Par One Construction in East Berlin, PA, in 2000 as a siding contractor. In the year 2000, we weren’t yet blessed with WIFI, smartphones, or online banking, so needless to say, a lot has changed since Par One Construction was founded.

After 25 years in the business, Rick’s team has grown and expanded their service area and list of services. Through it all, Par One Construction has been able to set itself apart in the industry by achieving CertainTeed SELECT ShingleMaster™ status, a title held by only one other roofing contractor in York County, PA.

Par One Construction owner, Rick McAllister, loves to work in and support the local community that he and his wife, Tammie, have been a part of since 1986. Both of Rick and Tammie’s sons graduated from Dover School District. The youngest of the McAllister clan is the Par One co-owner, Patrick McAllister. Their business is the McAllister family shared passion. With only 27% of small businesses being family-owned, we believe this is special.

“I am extremely pleased with the entire experience dealing with Par One for my roof replacement. I did extensive research on roofing materials and companies. I was looking for the best in the area. From the initial call for an estimate through completion of the roof yesterday, everything and everyone at Par One was top-notch. When the crew showed up, they were on time & friendly. The crew worked together seamlessly, and they did an amazing job. This company has special equipment including a gas-powered lift that raises up a big aluminum container to the roof so old shingles don’t get on the ground. In the last few years, I replanted new shrubs so I was concerned that they might be crushed. The crew gently hung covers around the house and at one point even stood holding up a tarp when they were working close to my pond so old material would not fall into the water. There was absolutely no mess left behind, not even a scrap of roofing material. I will definitely recommend them to my friends and neighbors. My new roof is beautiful and makes a huge difference in the curb appeal of my home.”
