Purchasing a quality window is only part of this process. The overall effectiveness of a window is determined by how well it was installed.
Windows are made to stop the transference of air. However, quality and proper installation will ensure the maximum efficiency of your windows. Whereas subpar installation could enable air to get through even the most premium brands of windows. Our installers are also lead paint certified, therefore well versed on the proper procedure and protocol that comes along with working in homes containing lead paint during the window replacement process.
Insulating a window is another important part of the process. We use two different types of insulation to seal up your windows. First, we use a spray foam installation to fit into small spaces. The spray foam expands to fit the desired space. We also use regular Owens Corning fiberglass insulation to make sure everything is sealed all the way around.
Our team will then cap the outside in aluminum so that windows have a good look from the exterior. We will take care of the interior trim work as well with paint or stain finish.
We install doors of all makes and models, shapes and sizes. We do generally recommend Therma-Tru Doors to our customers, which come with a lifetime guarantee. One of our door installers will come directly to your home and properly install the door of your choice. The right door can dramatically enhance the look of your home.
There are a wide assortment of colors and styles to choose from. Our door installation services include the following types of doors:
A lot has changed with doors over the last decade. Many doors are being made with vinyl bottoms for more efficient use. Fiberglass doors have also become a very popular choice among homeowners, providing the look of natural wood without the expense or maintenance of an actual wood door.
We install vinyl and wood windows. We can install any brand of vinyl window, but we generally recommend Simonton® Windows. These are high-quality windows with a lifetime warrantee. Simonton windows also offer a set of unique features:
Low-E Glass: an invisible tint on a window which stops ultraviolet rays from passing through and protects the inside of your home from penetration of those rays. Furniture and carpets often fade from constant exposure to the sun’s rays.
Argon Gas: a gas that is located in between window glass panes and stops the transfer of air into your home. This is possible because argon is a gas that is heavier than air.
If your home is equipped with wood windows, we will generally recommend Weather Shield Windows as a replacement. Weather Shield is a high-end manufacturer of premium wood windows, with excellent prices, great quality, and no cracking or splitting.
