Par One Construction has just introduced the Roof Rescue Project – a program that will provide a family in need with a new roof, free of charge. Par One’s owner, Rick McAllister answers a few questions regarding this new program:
Q: How does the Roof Rescue Program work?
R: We are asking the communities in York and Adams counties to nominate those in need of a new roof who have fallen on hard times and simply cannot afford to replace their roof. Nominations can be submitted through our website www.paroneconstruction.com. We will then review the nominations and select three finalists that will be put on our website to vote on who they feel is the most deserving.
Q: How did this idea come about?
R: This is something that I have been thinking about for a few years now and finally have the support in place to be able to accomplish it. I have been very fortunate in my business and want to use that to give back to those in need in our community. Everyone deserves to have a safe, secure roof over their head. Bad things happen to good people and sometimes we get stuck in unfortunate situations.
Q: What can someone do if they want to support your program?
R: We are relying on the community to help spread the word to increase our nominations and reach those who need this the most. Posts on social media can be shared and flyers posted at businesses. For flyers or other ways, you feel you can contribute email roofrescueproject@paroneconstruction.com.
As the owner of Par One Construction, my priorities are my customers and my family. I pride myself in the quality of work we perform and the relationships we build as I strive to continually grow a business that I can pass down to my sons and grandsons.
